BILGE LEVEL SWITCH
Bilge level switches are a safety critcal component for the detection of liquid in dead
spaces, voids and sumps that are rarely visited or inspected by the crew. They need
to be able to withstand years of installation in difficult environmental conditons, yet
operate immediately and reliably to indicate rising liquid level, a leakage or flooding
hazard. The switch is corrosion resistant stainless steel fully submersible
construction with a hermetcally sealed SPDT reed switch poted in epoxy. The switch
is also designed with a manual lit test mechanism, which can be used to check switch
operation.

The Bilge Switch is designed to be installed in ship's bilges and tanks, industrial sumps and
tanks where it would be bolted at the required alarm level.
1,Rugged and compact all-stainless steel design with EPR cable resistant to seawater, fuel oil, and hydraulic fluid ensures reliable operation over years of service
2,Compact in size with a mechanical mounting using a two-bolt mounting bracket means that installation and commissioning is simple and fast
3,Self-draining cage design prevents fouling of the float from obstructions or floating debris in the bilge, as well as protection from false-switching
4,The integral switch test lever allows full testing of the float movement and switch functionality ensures routine safety tests can be carried out for peace-of-mind
5,Normally open or normally-closed operation and user-selectable cable lengths ensure the floa switch can be quickly delivered against each customer's exact requirement
