1.Theory:
When light travels from a glass medium into different phases (liquid or gas), due to the different refractive indices of water and steam, the critical angle at which light is reflected varies.
Through the processing of color filters, the liquid phase (water) appears green, the gas phase (steam) appears red, and the interface between the two is clearly distinguishable.
2. Liquid level display mechanism :
In the absence of water, the liquid level gauge appears entirely red; when the liquid level reaches full scale, it shows all green.
