Marine Flat Type Glass Level Gauge

Overview

Commonly used for monitoring oil and water levels on ships. It uses flange

connection and is easy to install. Due to the principle of light refraction, it displays

two colors separately, making it more convenient to observe the liquid level. Using

the working principle of the U-tube to directly observe the liquid level, errors in

instrument measurement are avoided, and liquid level monitoring is direct and

accurate. The flat level gauge is generally equipped with two scales: a height ruler

and a tank capacity gauge. At the same time, it is equipped with two upper and lower

self-closing valves to prevent liquid leakage and pollution when the level gauge is

accidentally damaged.

Working Principle

The glass plate level gauge is designed with an upper and lower valve structure. The

valve is equipped with a threaded joint, which is connected to the container

containing the measured medium through a flange to form a joint. Under the action

of the communicating vessel principle, the indicated liquid level of the glass plate

level gauge is consistent with the liquid level in the container. The liquid level in the

container can be obtained by reading the liquid level data in the external glass.
