XK-507 RF admittance level switch is a new level instrument. With advanced RF admittance technology, it has conquered the defect that capacitance level transmitter cannot eliminates influence of conductive medium attachment. Reliable in operation, resistant in heavy attachment, it is almost suitable for almost all industrial fields. In addition, it is easy to install, free maintenance, low cost and widely applied in the industries of petroleum, chemical, metallurgy, pharmacy, electric power, food stuff and paper making etc.

Structural Principle

An RF Admittance level sensor uses a rod probe and RF source to measures the change in admittance. The probe is driven through a shielded coaxial cable to eliminate the effects of changing cable capacitance to ground. When the level changes around the probe, a corresponding change in the di-electric is observed. This changes the admittance of this imperfect capacitor and this change is measured to detect change of level.
