Product Description

Base frame (weld-pad) is welded onto the vessel wall. The glass is sandwiched between gaskets on both sides and is held in place with a cover flange, bolted to the base flange. For use as a fluid level visual indicator inside silos, pressure tanks, and internals of pipelines. Reflex glass has prismatic grooves using light refraction to better differentiate level without internal lighting in the vessel.

Application:
Weld-on low pressure sightglass fittings for observing the internals of tanks, pressure vessels, silgear-trains, separators and pipelines etc.
General:
low pressure sightglasses are similar to the DlN28-120 seriesand are suitable for welding into or onto vessel walls.
Operating Conditions:
Rated for pressures up to 5 bar depending on size.Temperature rating up to 900'C depending on seal and glassselection.

Installation: welding the base flange (1) into the vessel wall, Place gaskets (2), sight glass disc (3) andcover flange carefully. Then the bolts (5) are progressively tightened, cross tight the bolt severaltimes.
